So, what do you think of my new blog look? I’m loving it! For a while now I’ve wanted something more “professional” looking and something more creative than The Roberts House. When I saw that Emily at Jones Design Company was offering an online blog class teaching all the ins and outs of blogging, I was a bit more than excited.
The $300 price tag was steep, but after a few days of back-and-forth, I decided to go for it and it was so worth it! The class taught me how to move from my blogger blog to WordPress which gave me a lot more control over the look and feel of my blog as well as provided me with access to all sorts of blogging aspects that I wasn’t aware of. When I ran into a problem, I just sent an email and either Emily or her very capable husband would get back to me quickly. They even called me and spent the better part of an hour trouble shooting until my problem was solved! A problem, I might add, that I thought was out of the realm of the class offering.
The class has step-by-step online videos which allow you to progress at your own pace (essential for a mom to three since my schedule is theirs) and there is NO timeframe. You will always have access to the class. No end in sight! Even better, they are constantly updating and adding new material. This class covers everything from how to pick a name and snag your domain, to search engine optimization to how to make money from your blog.
I can’t say enough about this class. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, they make it easy to build a blog. The free graphics that are provided are worth the cost alone and the only thing that you pay for after the class registration is the cost of for own domain name and web hosting. They make sure to provide recommendations for free programs for everything else that you might need!
So check it out.
Thank you for such a kind review of the class! Your blog shows how much work you’ve put in to it and we are so glad that we were able to be a small piece of that. Many blessings to you!
